Things to work on at home:

- Reading every night with your child
- Have them start sounding out easy 3 letter cvc words (hat, hop, cup, ect.) in books.
- Have your child read the paper books sent home or Raz Kiz
- Have your child practice counting to 100
- Practice sight words
- Practice tying shoes

Water Bottles:
Please make sure you pack your child has an extra water bottle daily they can use in the classroom. Since we are now experiencing warmer weather. I want to make sure they start hydrated during the day.
Tying shoe club:
Please work on at home tying shoes so your child can be part of our tying the shoe club!! If your child shows me they can tie shoes they can be part of our tying the shoe club!!
Google Classroom:
I will be keeping The class Google Classroom updated with online things we are working on in class. Just in case anyone is sick or is a close contact in quarantine. Your child does know how to get on it. I will have assignments listed daily.
RAZ kids:
Reading a to z (Raz kids) is a great tool as well to use. I upload books on your child’s reading level. The link is also on the blog.

This is a computer game that works on reading and math skills that are on your child’s level. The skills they are working on are the ones they missed on NWEA.
